We at EQUINOX VALLEY NURSERY take pride that all of our plant material is in prime condition, free from insects, diseases and well adapted to our area. To ensure this, our plants receive the utmost professional care.

REQUIREMENTS: DEFECTIVE PLANT & REGISTER RECEIPT

A sales slip (register receipt) must be presented along with the defective plant to our sales staff. Plant material is fully guaranteed for a store credit or replacement.

Equinox Valley Nursery’s responsibility and liability will not exceed the purchase price of the plant. A credit will be given that can be applied to a replacement plant or towards a purchase from any other department at Equinox Valley Nursery.

Sorry! No cash refunds. One time replacement only! Plants taken as replacement will carry no warranty. All plants need proper care during planting and ensuing gardening seasons. Plants in declining health should be cared for and treated immediately. Our professional staff upon request will give diagnosis for treatment. If the plant brought back for refund has green tissue & live buds no refund will be given. Equinox Valley Nursery is not responsible for plants that are affected by extreme natural conditions (i.e. floods, ice, snow, or drought), The Whim of Mother Nature or neglect by the customer.

TREES AND SHRUBS

If we at Equinox Valley Nursery planted the nursery stock, there is a one-year replacement guarantee on plants and labor. If the customer has installed the nursery stock, we offer 100% store credit or replacement for 60 days after purchase date.

ROSES & FLATTED GROUNDCOVERS

Up to thirty (30) days. 100% store credit or replacement.

PERENNIALS

Up to thirty (30) days. 100% store credit or replacement.

HOUSEPLANTS

Up to thirty (30) days. 100% store credit or replacement.

NO GUARANTEE ON:

Bonsai, Annuals, Sod, Live Balled Christmas Trees (evergreens bought during December are deemed Christmas items), plants potted in containers on site (or purchased at the nursery in a container) that are left in that container all year round, plants damaged by natural or mechanical injury.

REQUIREMENTS: SALEABLE PLANT OR PLANTS & SALES RECEIPT

 

If a plant or plants is being returned to EQUINOX VALLEY NURSERY for

non-defective reasons, it must be done within a 24 hour period and a

restocking fee of 10% of the retail price will be charged. This is done

to cover time and labor to put that plant or plants back into a retail

conditions. (Repricing and moving plant back into its retail location.)

This policy also applies to Nursery holds for future customer pick up or

planting by Equinox Valley Nursery. If a customer should cancel a pick

up or planting order there will be a 10% restocking fee charged. This

is to cover care, labor and loss of availability for retail of said

plants.
