EQUINOX VALLEY NURSERY takes pride knowing that all our plant material is in prime condition, free from insects, disease, and well adapted to our area. To ensure this, we source plant material only from the highest quality suppliers, and our stock receive the utmost professional care on-site.

Returns of Defective Plant Materials

Equinox Valley Nursery’s responsibility and liability will not exceed the purchase price of the plant. A credit will be given that can be applied to a replacement plant or towards a purchase from any department at Equinox Valley Nursery.

No cash refunds. One time replacement only. Plants taken as replacement will carry no warranty. All plants need proper care during planting and ensuing gardening seasons. Plants in declining health should be cared for and treated immediately. Our professional staff, upon request, will give diagnosis for treatment. If the plant being returned has green tissue and/or live buds, our defective plant guarantee does not apply. 

Equinox Valley Nursery is not responsible for plants that are adversely affected by extreme natural conditions (i.e. floods, frost, ice, snow, drought, etc.), or neglect by the customer.

The original sales receipt must accompany any returned plant. We will evaluate the returned materials for defects/disease. If it is determined damage or disease is the result of neglect or improper handling that occurred after the plant material left our premises, no store credit or replacement will be issued.

DEFECTIVE PLANT MATERIAL RETURNS POLICY:

Trees: Up to sixty (60) days after purchase date, 100% store credit or replacement

Shrubs: Up to thirty (30) days after purchase date, 100% store credit or replacement

Perennials: Up to seven (7) days, 100% store credit or replacement.

Houseplants: Up to seven (7) days. 100% store credit or replacement.

Non Defective Plant Material Returns Policy

Plant material being returned for a non-defective reason must be accompanied by the store receipt, be in its original Equinox Valley Nursery pot, be in its original healthy condition, and be returned within 48 hours of purchase. A 15% restocking fee will apply to all non-defective tree and shrub returns.

NO RETURNS ON:

• Annuals
• Herbs & Vegetables
• Bulbs
• Fresh Christmas Greenery such as, but not limited to: Christmas trees, brush & boughs, wreaths, garland, swags, centerpieces, mantlepieces, arrangements, kissing balls, holly, winterberry, and special order items.

Hardgoods Returns Policy

All unused items, in original condition and packaging accompanied by a store receipt are eligible for refund to the original form of payment, exchange, or store credit. If no receipt is presented and item is identifiable as from our shop, a store credit may be issued.
